We are just a few days away from our first public service. Even though it is not our official launch, a preview service is so vitally important. We want things to be excellent for His glory and to connect with many families in the county! Pray for this event as it is a critical one for the life of our church plant!
Lots of work has been done! I commend all of our people for the hard work that they have been doing. The nursery and kids area is being well organized. Our Parking team is ready. Greeters have their plan together and we bought the coffee and pots and creamers yesterday! You know Baptist have to have coffee! The praise band has been practicing long hours and the tomb for the resurrection scene is almost done! Advertisements on Facebook, in newspapers and all our mail outs will begin to hit this week! We are excited!
Someone asked me Sunday night how many we actually expect for Easter. It’s really hard to say. I really don’t want to get into a numbers game anyway. But – it’s Easter – so… I suspect we will draw a lot of people. Our main goal is to connect with 15 families and been able to follow up with them and prayerfully plug many of them into our first Discipleship Track starting April 27th. Wouldn’t it be awesome if from the first service we were able to network and reach that many. Pray for the Lord to do a work in all of us because that’s what it will take!
Apart from Easter, it’s been pretty exciting over the last month. We have had three families added to our ranks! Two others are on the brink of joining currently. With these additions, we have well over 50 involved. That excites my heart! Keep praying for Central!
Time to Toil…
